This client is a school district in Colorado Springs, CO area. We are searching for a full time Occupational Therapist for a contract position for the 2009-2010 school year. The caseload will be dependent on the skill set of the potential clinician. Both pull out and inclusion models are used. Compensation is a custom package that will range in pay dependent on experience.
The Pikes Peak region is the gateway to Southern Colorado and includes Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, Old Colorado City, Caņon City, Cripple Creek, Woodland Park, Tri-Lakes/Monument, Victor and Green Mountain Falls. The region is classified as an "alpine desert" and has a moderate, dry climate and over 300 days of sunshine annually. The peak tourism months are June through August, but the mild winters make it a great destination year round. The region welcomes over 6 million visitors each year.
Qualifications: Clinician must hold a masters degree in Occupational Therapy or a bachelors with experience; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable.
