23-24 School-Based Occupational Therapist in Grand Junction, CO

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated occupational therapist to join our team in Grand Junction, CO! As a school-based occupational therapist, you will work with students of all ages and abilities to promote their success in academic, social, and daily living skills.  

Responsibilities:  

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student needs 

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results 

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success

• Document student progress and maintain accurate records 

• Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings as needed 

• Stay up-to-date on best practices in occupational therapy and contribute to ongoing professional development within the team

Qualifications:  

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy 

• Active Colorado state license in Occupational Therapy 

• Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required 

• Strong communication and collaboration skills 

• Dedication to helping students achieve their full potential 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

• Positive attitude and a passion for occupational therapy.
