Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) job near Morse, CA

Location: Near Morse, CA

Type: Part-time, Contract

Hours: 25 hours per week

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: June 1st

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work with TK-12th grade students in multiple school sites near Morse, CA. This is a part-time contract position that will last through June 1st.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the occupational therapist to assess, develop, and implement individualized occupational therapy plans for TK-12th grade students.
• Use evidence-based interventions and strategies to help students develop, recover, or maintain the daily living and work skills needed for independent and productive lives.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents, teachers, and other team members.
• Work effectively as part of a team with the occupational therapist and other educational professionals to meet the needs of the students.
• Provide services at up to 3 different school sites.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
• Active certification as a COTA from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Valid California state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
