School-Based COTA

RESPONSIBILITIES: COTA will take on an itinerant position to monitor student progress and provide treatment in accordance with IEPs. You will assist with universal screenings, create visuals/charts, consult with teachers, and collaborate with the Special Education team to design interventions to help students attain established goals, sometimes modifying and updating goals when necessary in order to improve function. There are multiple campuses to be served within the district, so COTAs must have reliable transportation in order to complete their tasks.

START DATE: August 31st, 2022
HOURS: 37.5 hours/week (30 minute unpaid lunches)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must be a licensed COTA in the state of Vermont
• Experience in a schools is preferred
• Upbeat, resourceful attitude
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work in a collaborative setting
• Effective communication skills
• Negative TB Test
• Negative Drug Test
• Clean Criminal History
• DOE Fingerprints

COMPENSATION: The pay for this position is negotiable and based on experience level, and paid via W2 direct deposit.
