Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Location: Durango, CO
Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide support to students in a school setting. You will collaborate with Occupational Therapists to help students achieve their academic and functional goals.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs.
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote student progress.
- Document therapy sessions and student outcomes accurately.
- Participate in meetings and discussions related to student care.
Qualifications:
- Active COTA license.
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads effectively.
