Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the school's special education team to provide occupational therapy services to students
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized therapy plans to address students' specific needs and goals
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' functional abilities and create appropriate therapy interventions
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports as required by the school district
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment for students
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations is preferred
