Job Description:

As a School Occupational Therapist (OT), you will be an essential part of our dedicated team, providing comprehensive therapeutic services to help students overcome challenges and achieve their developmental and academic goals. Your expertise in occupational therapy will contribute to creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' unique needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions to address fine motor skills, sensory integration, and functional abilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the academic setting.
  • Provide training and support to teachers and staff in implementing therapeutic techniques.
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and generate progress reports for parents and the educational team.

Requirements:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Washington.
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.
