Full-Time School-Based Occupational Therapist- Washington DC- 23/24 SY

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time position in Washington, DC. The school is conveniently located near RFK Stadium, providing free parking for staff.

Position Details:

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
• Student Age Group: 3-20-year-olds
• Disabilities: Range of disabilities
• Location: 1 School location near RFK Stadium
• On-Site Support: Staff and paraprofessionals on-site
• Licensing Requirement: Must have an active DC License

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Valid Washington, DC state license as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working with children and adolescents with various disabilities, preferably in a school setting
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and provide occupational therapy services to students with various disabilities
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of student services and progress
