Soliant, a leading healthcare staffing company, is currently seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Austin, TX. This is a full-time position with guaranteed hours and competitive hourly pay. As an employee, you will also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional condition to determine the appropriate occupational therapy treatment plan
- Develop and implement personalized therapy programs to help patients improve their functional abilities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
- Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing support and education to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress, and treatment outcomes
Requirements:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Texas
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Previous experience in a similar setting is preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
