Hiring WA-Licensed Occupational Therapist for New School Year | K-8th Grade Caseload  

A school district near the Clatskanie, Oregon area has a full-time job opening for the upcoming school year! The district is in Washington, but is quite close to the Oregon/Washington border. Candidates must be licensed to work in Washington by the start of the new school year. This is a wonderful school district, and employees will be included in trainings and continuing education. Training will start in August, and once the year starts it will be a full-time position until the school year ends. The district is ready to interview candidates immediately.

We are seeking a talented Occupational Therapist with previous pediatric or school experience. The OT must be licensed in Washington prior to be eligible for an interview for this position, however they do not need to have the ESA until 2 weeks prior to the position start date.

• Upcoming school year
• Caseload Details:
  • Approximately 30-35 students
  • K-8th grade students 
• Reducing barriers that limit student participation within the school environment
• Supporting the needs of students with significant challenges, such as by helping to determine methods for alternate educational assessment and learning
• Helping to identify short and long-term goals for appropriate post-school outcomes

Required Certifications:

• Washington OT License
• Washington ESA 
• Washington DOH License
• Previous pediatric or school experience
