School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Rosemont, IL
Employment Type: Full-time 35 hours per week - contract
Student Caseload: K-8th grade, ~50 students with a range of disabilities
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our school-based team and provide essential services to students in grades K-8th. As an OT, you will play a crucial role in helping our students with diverse disabilities develop the skills necessary for success both inside and outside the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Current IL Licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience working with pediatrics in a school setting.
Details:
- Provide occupational therapy assessments and services to students with disabilities, in alignment with their IEP's
- Develop and implement effective therapy plans and interventions to address a wide range of needs
- Support students in building skills for daily living, fine motor skills, sensory processing, and more.
