Occupational Therapist $48+/hr | Boston

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As an OT, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to middle school students at two of our campuses in Boston. You will work closely with a team of educators, parents, and other professionals to assess individual student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to help students achieve their academic and functional goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess individual student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individualized occupational therapy services to middle school students with a variety of developmental challenges, including fine motor skills, self-care skills, sensory processing, and learning disabilities
- Implement evidence-based interventions to help students achieve their academic and functional goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care for each student
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices in occupational therapy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Massachusetts State Licensure in Occupational Therapy
- Previous experience working with middle school students is preferred
- A passion for helping students overcome developmental challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
