Job Description:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year in the Napa, CA Area. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with students in grades PK-12th to help them achieve their educational goals by improving their motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' individual needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address students' occupational therapy goals
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including fine motor and visual motor interventions
- Collaborate with other members of the educational team to provide a coordinated approach to students' educational needs
- Monitor and document students' progress towards their goals
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and parents to help students achieve success in the classroom and at home
Requirements:
- Valid certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working with children and adolescents
- Knowledge of laws and regulations related to special education and occupational therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
