School-Based Occupational Therapist
Department: Special Education
Salary: $55 - $61/hr
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced school-based occupational therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and adolescents with disabilities, and will be able to provide individualized therapy services in a school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students with disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assess students' functional skills and develop treatment plans to address their specific needs
- Implement therapy interventions in the classroom, at home, and in the community
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide a coordinated approach to intervention
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
- Current licensure to practice occupational therapy
- Experience working with children and adolescents with disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
