Occupational Therapist (OT)

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10am - 6pm

Employment Type: Temporary with the potential for extension

Hours per Week: 37.5

Caseload: Most cases are children aged 3 to 13 with ASD diagnoses, but there is a chance of having other cases and age groups.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and provide high-quality occupational therapy services to children in an outpatient clinic setting. This is a temporary position with the potential for extension, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy services to children and adolescents with a variety of developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess individual patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
Implement individualized therapy plans to help patients improve their fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care skills, and functional independence.
Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals to support patient progress.
Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and patient development.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy.
Qualifications:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
State licensure in Occupational Therapy.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and adolescents in an outpatient clinic setting.
Experience working with the ASD population.
Strong clinical skills and a deep understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Compassionate and patient demeanor.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
