It is great pleasure for Soliant to introduce an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to work for a respected school district close to Tempe, Arizona. This is a full-time position that will begin on January 9th and last until the end of the year. It is available now. The position entails filling two consecutive maternity breaks, offering a priceless chance to positively influence kids' lives in an educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, focusing on enhancing their abilities to participate in educational activities
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and ensure therapy goals align with educational objectives
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, student progress reports, and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team
- Adapt therapy techniques and interventions to meet the diverse needs of students within the school district
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Prior experience in a school-based occupational therapy role is preferred
- Availability to work full-time from January 9th for the remainder of the school year
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage caseload demands
- Dedication and passion to contribute positively to students' educational experiences
- Flexibility to adapt to the diverse needs of students and collaborate effectively with school staff and families
