Occupational Therapist & COTA Wanted
Procare Therapy is seeking to hire two talented Occupational Therapists & COTAs to take on the upcoming school year! These are full-time positions, spanning 5 days/week from September to June! Join our mission of proudly serving our communities with exceptional Occupational Therapy, encouraging academic development and new opportunities to our wonderful students.
For this position, applicants are required to carry an active Washington Occupational Therapists license, their Washington ESA certification, and a degree in Occupational Therapy - without these credentials, applicants will not be eligible for this position. We would prefer a candidate that has experience in schools or pediatrics, but it is by no means necessary. Applicants are, however, required to pass a drug & background screening to ensure the utmost safety of our students.
This caseload comprises primarily of Elementary students, with varying levels of needs and abilities. Generally, the disabilities range from mild to moderate, and there is a wide variety of needs shown on this caseload! The OT & COTA will be providing specialized assessments, providing individualized treatments, progress reports, and meeting with our interdisciplinary Special Education team to coordinate further treatment plans.
