We are delighted to be partnering with a fantastic school district in Springfield, VT to hire a qualified Occupational Therapist for maternity leave cover from August - October of the upcoming semester. This is a full time, onsite position.
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and individual needs
- Assess, evaluate, and document students' functional abilities and areas of improvement
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, interventions, and strategies to enhance students' overall development and independence
- Collaborate with other members of the educational team, including teachers, parents, and administrators, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive support for students
- Monitor and track students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress reports
Qualifications:
- Active state Occupational Therapy license
