Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) - School OT

We are seeking a talented Occupational Therapist to take on a full-time assignment for the 2022-2023 school year! Our idea of an ideal OT is one that works harmoniously with others, is organized, has diverse experience, and is punctual. Read below for more details for this position!

Firstly, the federal requirements for this position require candidates to be licensed Occupational Therapists in the state of Maryland and graduates of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. A background check, drug screening, and fingerprinting is also required prior to your start date, which ensures the safety of our students! Failure to complete this onboarding process will result in the delay of your start date. 

Start date: August 25th, 2022
Work hours: 8:15 AM - 3:45 PM, 35 hours/week
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Specialized evaluations & treatment based on each student needs 
• Consultative services
• Setting and achieving goals based on pre-established individualized education plans (IEP)
• Maintain documentation of services and progress
• Attendance of IEP meetings
• Collaborating with Special Education team to further student progress
