Soliant Education is on the lookout for a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Dearborn, MI. Your Role:
- Custom Therapy Plans: Develop and implement personalized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans focusing on enhancing students' fine motor abilities, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
- Assessment & Intervention: Perform thorough assessments to understand students’ needs and provide targeted therapy to promote their progress.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to seamlessly incorporate therapy goals into classroom activities and support students’ overall learning.
- Detailed Documentation: Keep precise records of therapy sessions, student progress, and all related communications.
- Ongoing Development: Engage in continuous professional development and participate in school meetings to stay current with the latest occupational therapy practices.
What You Bring:
- Educational Requirements: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or a similar field.
- Licensing: Current OT license or certification in Michigan.
- Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous but not required.
- Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong ability to work effectively with students, families, and educational staff.
- Team Spirit: Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
