Part-Time Occupational Therapist Job Opening | K-12th Grade Caseload | Bellevue, WA

A school district in the Bellevue, Washington area has a part-time job opening for an exceptional OT! This is an onsite position. You will be working with students in Kindergarten through 12th grade, though most of the caseload are students in grades K-5. 

Job Details: 

• K-12 Caseload 
  • Some students on the caseload will be ages 3-5 years old 
• 2.5 days per week
  • The school district is able to be very flexible with the OT's schedule 
  • Must work 2.5 days all together, but can schedule for only mornings or only afternoons, etc.
• The OT will be working with 4 elementary schools
  • The schools are next to each other
  • OTs will only need to work 1 school per day

The district is looking for a talented Occupational Therapist to provide standard services to students such as these: 

• Reducing barriers that limit student participation within the school environment
• Supporting the needs of students with significant challenges, such as by helping to determine methods for alternate educational assessment and learning
• Helping to identify long-term goals for appropriate post-school outcomes

For candidates to be considered for this position you must have the following qualifications:

• Occupational Therapist license in Washington
• At least 1 year of school experience 
• Ability to communicate with caregivers effectively and empathetically 
• Candidates must conduct themselves professionally
• Tech-savvy
• Organized and patient
