Part-Time Occupational Therapist (School-Based) - Phoenix, AZ

Job Description: We are currently seeking 1-2 highly skilled Occupational Therapists (OTs) to join our team for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. The positions available include:

1. Three-Day/Week OT:

   • Start Date: August 2, 2023
   • End Date: December 20, 2023
   • Working Days: Three days per week
   • Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students in need, collaborate with teachers and other professionals, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and provide support and guidance to students, parents, and staff.

2. Two-Day/Week OT:

   • Start Date: August 2, 2023
   • End Date: June 2024 (for the entire school year)
   • Working Days: Two days per week
   • Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to students, conduct assessments, create treatment goals, provide therapeutic interventions, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and maintain accurate records.

It is possible for one person to cover both positions for the first semester. However, please note that the days for the second semester may decrease unless the first OT extends their leave.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (OT)
• Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience working with pediatric populations in a school setting (preferred)
• Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and educational law
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to create and implement effective treatment plans
• Strong organizational and time management skills
