School districts in the surrounding areas of Newside, PA are looking to hire a Occupational Therapist for the school year. Below are details concerning the expectations and details of the positions for future applicants: 

• Start/End: ASAP- June 9, 2023

  Hours: Full time

  Job details: Responsible for assessing referred students and assisting in developing plans for early intervention and school age students, as it relates to occupational therapy intervention. These are itinerant positions.

  Demonstrates knowledge of occupational therapy treatments and activities.

  Demonstrates knowledge of the tools, techniques, and technologies used for therapy.

  Maintains professional credentials.

  Demonstrates the ability to implement and comply with PA IEP process.

  Required or Non-negotiables:

  Valid Certification of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) as an Occupational Therapist

  Valid PA Licensure as an Occupational Therapist

  Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited OT program, Master’s Degree preferred..

Expectations:
Treat injured, ill, or disabled patients through the therapeutic use of everyday activities while helping these patients develop, recover, improve, as well as maintain the skills needed for daily living and working
