School-Based Occupational Therapist Job Opening | Quick Interview & Start

Sunbelt Staffing has a full-time position for a talented OT! Sunbelt Staffing is teaming up with a school district in the vicinity to find exceptional candidates. The school district is located approximately 50 minutes North of Durham, near the Virginia border. 

Applicants should be prepared to be onsite, though the school district will be following all health mandates and may be virtual. This is a full-time position for the current school year. 

Position Details:

  • Direct services 
  • Evaluations
  • 2 schools
    • Elementary school 
    • Middle school 
  • High needs students
    • Moderate to severe
    • Support provided


  • Reducing barriers that limit student participation within the school environment
  • Supporting the needs of students with significant challenges, such as by helping to determine methods for alternate educational assessment and learning
  • Helping to identify long-term goals for appropriate post-school outcomes


  • NC Occupational Therapist license 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous school or pediatric experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate with caregivers effectively and empathetically 
  • Organized and reliable
