Job Description: Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, school-based position in Ingleside, IL. This contract role is for the 2024/2025 school year, where you will provide crucial occupational therapy services to students to support their academic and personal development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students' motor skills and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current Illinois state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
State-Specific Requirements:
- Must hold or be eligible for Illinois state licensure as an OT.
- Compliance with all Illinois state requirements for school-based OTs, including background checks and certifications.
