Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. As a full-time onsite OT, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, supportive environment and provide high-quality therapy services to individuals of all ages. Your role will be critical in helping patients enhance their daily living skills and regain independence, improving their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients’ physical, mental, and emotional needs.
- Develop personalized treatment plans to address specific goals related to daily living skills, motor functions, and cognitive abilities.
- Implement therapeutic techniques to promote independence in activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including doctors, nurses, and therapists, to create a comprehensive care plan.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and families on adaptive strategies and techniques.
- Maintain detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and confidentiality standards.
- Track patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Pennsylvania state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Experience in a clinical, rehabilitation, or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
