Location: Oxnard, California
Job Type: Full-time Contract Position, 32 hours per week
Assignment Dates: ASAP - June 2025
Caseload: Ages 5-22 years old, students with Autism

We are currently working with a great school district in Oxnard who is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for the spring semester of the school year. Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Active California OT License.
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is preferred.
- Prior school-based experience is preferred but not required.
- Candidate must be comfortable working with students with Autism.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' needs and develop tailored therapy plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom setting.
- Deliver direct therapy services focused on motor skills, sensory integration, and adaptive techniques.
- Develop and lead training sessions for educators and parents on strategies to support students with various needs.
- Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attend related meetings.
