School based Occupational Therapist position.
A wonderful school district that is now looking to hire a new Occupational Therapist for their school district.  Previous experience with pediatric care or school-based experience is a plus but not required. When you apply you will be immediately considered by the school district with or without experience with children.

This position allows you to work alongside several other OT and education experts. This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself into a wonderful place to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose and speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide training and education to family/caregivers and other professionals.
• Create individualized programs to meet the student’s needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and other Occupational Therapists
• Work with school aged students

Experience:

• Previous experience with pediatrics or schools preferred but NOT required.

Qualifications:

• Have a master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy 
• Have an active license approved by the State or able to receive it before assignment
• Must have a CDE (teaching certificate) before we can set up an interview

Employment Type:

• Full time- contract based

Hours:

• 37.5 guaranteed hours 
• Normal School hours
