School Occupational Therapist- Carlsbad, NM 23-24 School Year

ProCare Therapy is seeking 2 dedicated and qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time position in Carlsbad, NM. This position is for the 2023/2024 school year and will focus on serving a preschool caseload.

Position Details:

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• School Year: 2023/2024
• Caseload: K-12
• Onsite
• 37.5+ Hrs / weekly 
• 2 Positions  
• 8am - 3pm
• Offering $44-48/ Hour 

Qualifications:

• Bachlor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
• Valid New Mexico license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Experience working with children Prek- 12th grade, preferably in a school setting
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services to preschool students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of student services and progress
