School Occupational Therapist - Elk Grove, CA 2023-2024 School Year

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Occupational Therapist for a full-time position in Elk Grove,CA. Join our team and have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. This position is for the 2023/2024 school year and will focus on serving a K-12th grade caseload.

Position Details:

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
• Valid CA license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Experience working with high school-aged children, preferably in a school setting
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services to preschool students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of student services and progress
