Key Responsibilities:

As an Occupational Therapist in Medina, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and well-being of self-contained middle school students. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Providing direct occupational therapy services to students, aligning with their IEPs and developmental goals.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective therapy strategies.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of student progress.
• Actively participating in IEP meetings and offering input on students' educational goals.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in delivering occupational therapy services.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
• Experience working with middle school students, especially in self-contained settings, is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
