School Occupational Therapist (OT) Contract Position | Euclid, OH

Position Overview:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work within the school district to provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students, focusing on enhancing their ability to participate in various activities both academically and socially. You will collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to assess students' needs, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions that promote their independence and functional abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services based on identified goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive environment for students' development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and participate in meetings to discuss student needs and progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid Ohio state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
