Job Title: School Occupational Therapist (OT)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) looking for an opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives? Soliant is seeking a School Occupational Therapist to join our team in Arlington, VA and surrounding areas. In this role, you will provide occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs in educational settings.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine students' functional abilities and needs
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans to address students' goals and objectives
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, targeting areas such as fine motor skills, sensory integration, activities of daily living, and visual-motor skills
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' progress and educational needs
• Incorporate assistive technology and adaptive equipment to enhance students' participation and independence
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding students' occupational therapy needs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active Virginia Occupational Therapist (OT) license or eligibility
• Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a school or pediatric setting (preferred)
• Knowledge of IEP process and special education laws and regulations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
