Job Title: School Occupational Therapist (OT)

Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) dedicated to helping students thrive and succeed in their educational journey? Soliant is seeking a School Occupational Therapist to join our team in Buckeye, AZ and surrounding areas. In this role, you will provide therapeutic interventions to students in educational settings, helping them develop the necessary skills for optimal independence and engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' functional abilities and identify areas of need
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals to address students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment recommendations, and environmental modifications
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' goals and progress
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding students' occupational therapy needs
• Stay current with research and best practices in the field of occupational therapy

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active Arizona Occupational Therapist (OT) license or eligibility
• Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
