Job Title: School Occupational Therapist (OT)

Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in St. Paul, MN, and the surrounding areas. As an OT, you will play a vital role in helping students develop essential skills, overcome challenges, and thrive in their educational journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory integration, visual perception, and functional abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans based on assessment results
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and activities of daily living
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create comprehensive support plans
  • Adapt classroom environments and activities to meet the individual needs of students
  • Monitor and track student progress, and adjust therapy techniques as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, trends, and best practices in occupational therapy

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current Minnesota state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience working with school-aged children in a school or pediatric setting
  • Strong knowledge of sensory processing, motor development, and functional skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
