Job Description: As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments to identify students' sensory, motor, and developmental challenges.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Providing direct therapy sessions to address fine motor, sensory integration, and other occupational therapy goals.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Assisting with the implementation of strategies to enhance students' participation and engagement in educational activities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Pennsylvania state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Previous experience in a school setting is beneficial, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.
