School Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a passionate and experienced School Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing therapy services to students in a school setting. You will work with students of all ages and abilities to help them overcome physical, mental, and emotional challenges that may affect their ability to participate fully in school activities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy services to students to improve their motor skills, coordination, sensory processing, and self-regulation.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students' participation in classroom activities and social interactions.
• Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Provide education and training to teachers and staff on strategies to support students' participation and success in the classroom.
• Maintain accurate and complete records in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice Occupational Therapy.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing Occupational Therapy in schools.
