We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated School Physical Therapist to join our team in Columbia, SC and surrounding areas. As a School Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with students of varying ages and abilities, helping them develop and enhance their motor skills, coordination, and physical well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assess students' physical abilities and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure the effective implementation of therapy goals and strategies
• Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Document students' therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' education plans
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in school-based physical therapy

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of South Carolina
• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in a school setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques and interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students
