Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' physical strengths and limitations.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans and goals to enhance students' motor skills and functional abilities.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to support students' physical development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to student care.
  • Utilize adaptive equipment and assistive devices to promote student participation in educational activities.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy strategies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Maine.
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric conditions and physical therapy interventions.
