We’re seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support a diverse K–12 student population for the upcoming school year. This full-time, onsite position offers the chance to make a lasting impact, working with 45–60 students identified for OT services based on individualized education plans.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR) license in Texas, granted by ECPTOTE
- Previous experience with pediatric or school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a flexible caseload across varying grade levels (K–12)
- Dedication to providing student-centered, evidence-based interventions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and direct interventions for students in accordance with IEP requirements
- Develop and implement individualized treatment goals addressing academic, fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Collaborate with teaching staff and families to maximize student outcomes and participation in school activities
- Maintain thorough progress notes and necessary documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute expertise on student needs
- Adjust strategies and service delivery models as needed based on ongoing data and student progress
