This part-time position (20-25 hours per week) begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year. While both on-site and VOCO options are considered, priority is given to those available for on-site work.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT), with eligibility for school practice
- Prior experience delivering OT services in a school setting
- Commitment to flexibility—adapting to evolving caseloads and student needs
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other education professionals, students, and families
- Readiness to begin quickly and work consistently through the end of the current school year
- Preferably available for on-site support; remote/VOCO applicants may also be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Occupational Therapy services as part of students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to ensure the best outcomes for each student
- Adapt interventions based on student goals and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student accommodations and modifications
- Maintain thorough, compliant records of therapy and progress
