Three positions are available, including one in Rockford, IL. Caseloads will be determined, offering the flexibility to match your expertise and interests. Each role is part-time at 15 hours per week, giving you the chance to make a difference while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Illinois licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting students’ academic, social, and functional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assess students’ needs and develop treatment plans tailored to their unique abilities
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school requirements
- Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to promote student success within academic environments
- Support students’ fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills development
