Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with valid credentials and eligibility to practice in schools
- Experience working with pediatric and school-age populations, preferably within a school setting
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and other specialists
- Organizational skills to effectively manage documentation and deliver effective therapy to a diverse student body
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students with a range of needs, supporting academic, functional, and social participation
- Collaborate with a second OT to divide caseload and ensure comprehensive coverage across the district
- Travel between assigned, easily accessible schools for onsite sessions
- Assess abilities, write and update IEP goals, and track student progress
- Consult with teachers, families, and other educational staff to facilitate carryover and success
