Key Qualifications:
- Florida Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Experience in school-based OT preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for fostering growth and independence in students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and evidence-based interventions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to address fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills as required by IEPs
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Educate school staff and families on strategies to integrate OT supports into daily routines
