This role focuses on providing essential services across elementary, middle, and high school settings, fostering growth and skills development among students. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to design and implement tailored interventions, making a lasting impact in a vibrant school community starting January 2026 through June 2026.
Qualifications:
- Current and active state-issued Occupational Therapy license required
- Experience with K-12 student populations preferred
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to adapt to varying school environments and caseloads
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12 based on IEP goals
- Conduct thorough assessments and collaborate on individualized education programs
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
- Partner with teachers, aides, and special education teams to ensure holistic student support
- Provide recommendations and training for staff and parents to implement strategies that enhance students’ functional independence
- Participate in meetings and ongoing professional development as needed
This contract position offers a weekly schedule of 30-37.5 hours, Monday through Friday, working directly with diverse age groups for meaningful, hands-on experience. Compensation starts at $40+ per hour, with weekly pay to keep you supported throughout the school year.
