Occupational Therapist School Setting in Missouri City, TX

As a full-time OT, you'll provide a blend of consultative and direct student services (ages 3–21), focusing on evaluations, IEP documentation, and ARD participation. - Full-time, on-site position (35 hours/week), with the upcoming school year running from August 11, 2026, through May 26, 2027
- Assigned to a coherent, nearby zone with 6-7 schools, reducing unnecessary travel and maximizing your connection with each campus
- Caseload aims for a balanced workload: 70 total, with direct services required for roughly 30–40 students on a rotating basis
- Responsibilities focus on evaluations, treatment, consultations, documentation for IEPs, and collaboration in ARD meetings
- Work with SHARES and Onward health documentation software, track student goals and services, and maintain your own records in excel
- School hours generally 8:00 am–4:00 pm (occasionally 7:30 am starts), promoting work/life balance
- Lead your assigned caseload independently without COTA support
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Active Texas OT license required
- Demonstrated school-based occupational therapy experience; highly experienced COTAs may also be considered
- Able to pass district fingerprinting/background checks
- Strong documentation and IEP meeting skills
- Passion for working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
