Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Pennsylvania
- Experience with pediatric or elementary school populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Exceptional organizational abilities to manage caseload and documentation requirements
- Knowledge of IEP process and school-based OT services a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create inclusive classroom strategies
- Maintain accurate records and document progress in alignment with district and legal standards
- Offer support and education to families regarding home-based strategies to reinforce classroom learning
