Responsibilities include:
- Delivering both direct and indirect occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs.
- Managing a caseload of approximately 50 students across elementary and middle school age groups.
- Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with teachers and staff to implement strategies that promote student independence.
- Participating in IEP meetings and maintaining thorough documentation for compliance and effectiveness.
- Consulting regularly with educators and families to ensure continuity in care and progress toward goals.
- Flexibly adapting to changing needs and maintaining a supportive presence throughout the duration of the assignment.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license (OT) required, with eligibility to practice in the state.
- Experience supporting school-aged children, preferably within elementary and middle school settings.
- Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based documentation.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a large, varied caseload with both direct service and consultation responsibilities.
