Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy licensure in Texas (OT)
- Must be able to start August 11, 2026 with a commitment through May 26, 2027
- Minimum of several years of school-based OT experience; highly qualified COTAs considered
- Experience with evaluations, direct therapy, and IEP documentation
- Willingness to undergo fingerprint background check (if not already on file)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Full-time availability (35 hours/week); part-time not considered
Responsibilities:
- Provide OT services for students ages 3-21 across 6-7 assigned schools within a designated zone
- Manage a consult-focused caseload of about 70 students, with direct services for 30-40 on a rotational basis
- Conduct evaluations and participate in ARD/IEP meetings
- Utilize SHARES and Onward software, maintain excel logs for IEP documentation
- Lead therapy without COTA support
