Job Post: School Physical Therapist (PT) / Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location: Stockton, CA and Surrounding Areas

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' physical strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans and goals to enhance students' motor skills and functional abilities.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, both individual and group sessions, to support students' physical development.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to student care.
  • Utilize adaptive equipment and assistive devices to promote student participation in educational activities.
  • Monitor and document students' progress regularly, making adjustments to therapy strategies as needed.

Requirements:

  • For Physical Therapist (PT):

    • Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
    • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
    • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • For Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):

    • Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program.
    • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in California.
    • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is advantageous, though new graduates are welcome to apply.
